Here at The Square we host a fantastic range of public (and reasonably priced!) live events in Bristol on a weekly basis – from talks and networking, to art exhibitions and jazzy Sundays..

Our venue is perfectly located in the easy-to-get-to heart of Clifton, Bristol and the beautiful Georgian exterior hides a range of contemporary spaces with plenty of charachter. JAMES MORTON – SOUL JAZZ CLUB 

27 April, 8pm – 11pm (£2 Entry)

Bristol’s esteemed sax player James Morton continues his residency at The Square with upfront dancefloor jazz, funk and soul – joined by guest musicians from the jazz scene. Playing with artists as diverse as Pee Wee Ellis and Fred Wesley to Pendulum and The Herbaliser. James is regarded as one of the UK’s foremost jazz musicians, even appearing on the Jazz World Stage at age 16.

YENA (Young Entrepreneur Networking Association)

28 April, 7.30pm – 11pm (Free Entry)

YENA was created to offer a networking environment for people aged 15 – 30. Too often there are barriers to success for young people in business and this event aims to break down those barriers and create an environment where useful connections can be established.

This April YENA are delighted to present Catrin McDonnal as their guest speaker. She is the Co-Founder and Marketing Director of Papadeli – a successful food and catering business in Bristol, and also a qualified Executive and Business coach.

VELVET SUNDAYS PRESENTS THE DAMN BUSTERS

8 May, 1pm – 5pm (Free Entry)

We know what makes a good Sunday: live jazz, board games and a hearty roast dinner! Our Velvet Sundays are the perfect end to a busy week – kick back and relax with a red wine or two in our boutique lounge, and let the woes of the week wash away..

On Sunday 8 May we will be joined by jump blues project – The Damn Busters. Expect old-school jump jive with a swing groove.
