Welcome to session two of the Square Works Book Club, coming this October!

In this session we will be discussing Septembers book by Jeanine Cummings, ‘The Outside Boy’.

Open and free to all, it will be running on the first Monday of every month. Whether you have been reading since you were a kid, or it is a new hobby you are picking up, this book club welcomes everyone regardless of level and ability, and there is a ‘100% no pressure’ rule. This means that if you don’t have time to finish the book, or simply are not enjoying it, you are under absolutely no obligation to do so – just come along anyway and join in with the discussion!

As it is open to anyone, please do encourage friends/family/partners to come along! We will provide some refreshments here, but do enjoy the perk of ordering any alcoholic beverage from the Square Club next door to get those creative juices flowing!

We have decided to go for a spooky October book as it seemed to be a fitting theme for the month. The chosen book is Anthony Horowitz’ ‘The word is murder’ – a murder mystery that will be sure to prepare you for winter as we settle into the cold, dark nights!

This is however, the last time Square Works will be choosing the book, so start having a think for November suggestions that you can put forward!

We have partnered with Gloucester road book shop which means that you can access these books with a 10% discount. Though, if you would like to join but are worried about accessing the books, please do not worry, just get in contact with our reception team either by email at hello@squareworksbristol.comor give us a call on 0117 322 6635and we will get you sorted.
