Novel Nights is a monthly literary event with guest speakers and readings by local talent. We provide literary chat, stories, discussion and inspiration for writers and readers.
This month, Novel Nights welcomes Bristol author Emily Koch on how to research fiction, and when research can make or break a novel. She’ll also give you her top tips on researching for fiction, and also discuss how to avoid letting research become the ultimate procrastination enabler, and stop you actually writing the novel.
Emily is an award-winning journalist whose debut novel If I Die Before I Wake was described by The Guardian as “a debut to be reckoned with”.
Emily lives in Bristol and is currently working on her second novel.
