We have some great things in store for this months Berkeley Square Poetry Revue.

Echoes and Edges is a collective of poets and musicians, working together on ideas that incorporate and merge spoken word with improvised and composed pieces of music. Blending rhythmic meter and syncopated pulse, they attempt to bring new ideas to the words and new images to the music.

This month, the poetry revue introduces:

Gillie Harries is an engaging poet/performer, published both here and in Australia – she has been Poet in the Pool at the Bristol Lido and is working towards the publication of her first collection.

Tim Vosper performs short, quirky, silly poems, covering a diverse range of cutting-edge issues such as his favourite dance moves and a hedgehog called Dave.

David Punter is a well-known Bristol poet, winner of various prizes and author of The Bristol Sonnets and six volumes of poetry.

Charlie + Jake are a Bristol-based vocal and piano/double bass duo, performing a growing number of original songs as well as a mix of jazz standard and soul classics.
