The Square is a genuinely unique events space and party venue in the heart of Clifton. Our dedicated team love to cater for all kinds of events from wrap parties,  private dinners and weddings to roaring parties of 250.

The Rooms

Square Kitchen

The Square kitchen is a versatile space that is frequently used for private dining, meetings and presentations and is also licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies. For larger events it can be used in conjunction with the lounge to seat up to 120.

The Lounge

The Lounge is an elegant space that is ideal for informal meetings, coffees, cocktails and hanging out. It can also be used as an impressive reception area where drinks and canapés can be served.

Lower Deck

The Lower Deck is home to our award winning cocktail bar. In addition to a vast array of mouthwatering drinks you will also find a large collection of contemporary art and an Open Gallery installation. This can double up as a large wall projection for presentations, film & TV.

The Terrace

Located at the back of the club, The Terrace is a hidden gem. Stylish wooden furniture, soft lighting and chilled beats permeate this space. The Terrace is perfect for drinks receptions, Hog Roasts & BBQs in Summer. During Christmas  you can hire the Grotto on the terrace – a decadent private marquee & bar.

Starters

Goat’s cheese mousse, variation of English beetroot, chard, pink grapefruit (V)

Beef carpaccio, rocket, parmesan panna cotta, balsamic caviar, baby beetroot

Scallops, fennel puree, pancetta dust, pickled samphire

Mains

Beef Wellington, mushroom duxelle, thyme fondant, green beans, peppercorn and mustard jus

Truffle oil-poached halibut, courgette, langoustine consomme

Roast chicken breast, dauphinois, cauliflower puree, chantenay carrots, roasting jus

Spinach, ricotta and pine nut ravioli, roasted tomato and garlic sauce

Prepared, cooked and served to you by our chefs on the terrace, our Hog Roast is for all occasions. We use locally reared pigs perfect for hog roasting.
