Indigo Bristol is an informal business and social networking group for LGBTQ+ women. Indigo’s social and cultural events are the perfect way to make new friends and catch up with old ones, and build a strong network of contacts for life inside and outside of work. Women travel from all over the South West for our unique mix of friendly faces, ideas and laughter.

This month, Indigo introduces Daisy Chapman, a songwriter in demand. Produced by Ali Chant (PJ Harvey, KT Tunstall, This is the Kit, Seasick Steve) her distinctive vocals have helped define the sound of this city for a decade.

Frequently compared to Regina Spektor, Nick Cave, Eva Cassidy & Kate Bush, Chapman’s unique voice soars high over dramatic strings & Nyman-esque piano. Her powerful vocals attracting regular commissions for film (John Parish) & TV.

Taking lyrical cues from the likes of Leonard Cohen, Chapman has found success in the US, Germany & Poland, toured with artists including Jenn Bostic & Karima Frances, & made the stages of Glastonbury.
