This Novel Nights, children’s author Tracy Darnton will be interviewed about her second YA thriller, The Rules. The novel follows Amber, a girl on the run from her dad, and the effects of preparing for disaster.

Tracy writes YA novels and children’s picture books. Her first novel, The Truth About Lies, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize 2019, for the Centurion and Concorde Book Awards and won the Warwickshire Book Prize. Most recently it was a World Book Night 2020 title.
