Bristol’s very own poetry revue invites the region’s wordsmiths to perform in our quirky cocktail bar.

A great Berkeley Square Poetry Revue in store on Tuesday November 28th. Three excellent writers are featured and they are firstly Jeremy Toombs and his poems are packed with musicality, spirituality, a thirst for and a love of life, people, nature. We have poet Sophie McKeand with ‘mythological, musical poetry that not only crosses borders but seems to dismantle them entirely, collapsing time and space, transfiguring and prefiguring the world we live in.’ and Flash Fiction writer Pete Sutton who is exciting and contemporary. His latest book is ‘A Tiding of Magpies’. Providing the music are Tim Burroughs and Keith Hyett with their exciting dialogue – known as ‘The Conversation’ between eastern and western music with sitar, guitar, poems and songs. Host Tim Burroughs
