Smallbrook Cottage is a beautiful retreat right in the heart of Hay-on-Wye. With three bedrooms, there’s room for up to six guests to find a little piece of rustic bliss in one of the UK’s most desirable towns. Originally a family home, the cottage has been renovated with a view to maintaining the original period features whilst bringing the utilities into the 21st century. Think roll top baths, roaring log fires and tasteful, period interior design.
The cottage is also a only a stones throw from The Institute of Art and Ideas: globe at hay. One of Wales’ favourite arts centres, it offers a whole range of entertainment including art exhibitions, comedy and music. As a little treat, guests at Smallbrook are treated to free tickets to all events during their stay.
Located only two minutes walk from the centre of Hay-on-Wye, and an equal distance to the idyllic, meandering River Wye. There are plenty of activities on offer in the locality including gorgeous walks, canoeing and outdoor pursuits.
